The Hamburg scavenger hunt

Where is the Hamburg Palace? What does the Inner Alster Lake have to do with a miller? And how long does it take for a message in a bottle to reach the North Sea? Is it true that the buildings in the Speicherstadt are under water during a storm surge and is it a lie that even children used to drink beer? Is the water in the harbour salty and how many containers can fit on the largest container ship?

In this combination of city walk, quiz and scavenger hunt, we show you the city centre with the town hall and the stock exchange, the Speicherstadt and Hafencity and take the ferry from the Elbphilharmonie to the Landungsbrücken. During this varied and dynamic Hamburg-Tour, the teams discover the harbour city in a playful way – and, eventually, there is a little surprise for the winning group!

About the programme:

Teams are formed at the meeting point and receive materials from Stattreisen Hamburg. Our guide leads the scavenger hunt and stays with the group. We start at Jungfernstieg and end at Landungsbrücken. Public transport tickets are required.
